Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends.  We always get caught up in the hustle and bustle.  We need to stop and enjoy time with one another.  It is a great time to learn family history.  Or hear those funny tales of days gone by. Sharing love for one another.  Always laughing with one another. I have hit that age when I am never sure what will come out of my mouth.  Sometimes the brain doesn't remember the right word or the right way to say something. It is great having family and friends that know what I meant anyway.

This week we only have one class at the shop.  Tomorrow will be our last card class for 2015.   Can't believe next week will be our first card class for 2016.  Wow!!!

We had some small guys trick or treating this year.  Always enjoy seeing the little guys with their buckets.  They are never sure which way they are supposed to go!!!

Had a fun visit with the wild bunch yesterday.  I enjoyed seeing everyone. Then I went to the Fall fest at school.  Didn't need any help going to sleep!!!!  I hate to tell you what time I went to bed.😉

I am noticing some changes in our leaves here and there.  Must mean Fall is coming.  I know it is official but the temps are not there yet.

Next week we have the layout class on Thursday and our Card Blitz on Friday and Saturday.

My goodness we are in October!!!!!  Wish this cool weather would stay for a little while longer.  It has been wonderful sleeping with the windows open.  Waking up to the birds singing in the morning.  The kitty cat came to the window calling out to me.  Ready to eat.

Tuesday is our card class.  Be there on time cause we have a full morning!!!  Come rested and ready to work.  You might want to bring a snack!!!  You will need your small scoreboard. We will be using colored pencils for one project.  The colors I used are: black, orange, Canari, and lime peel.  These are Prisma colors.  Be ready to have some fun!!!!

This weekend is our makeup weekend.  Please let me know if you plan to be there.  Some are coming Friday.  I need a head count to decide if I will do one or two days.

Just a reminder that Saturday is our sale day.  You do not want to miss the chance to get some great deals.  The sale is Saturday, September 26th from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.  Our single sheet paper will be $.10 a sheet.  The paper packs and pads will be 50% off.  All the stickers are 50% off.  Any album will be 50% off.  I'm sure I will have some other surprises during the day.  Now is the time to stock up for those Winter crafting days.

Can't believe we are almost at the end of September.  The Summer has whizzed by.  Looking forward to some cooler weather.  Some of the trees are starting to drop their leaves. It has been nice enough to open windows for a little while in the morning.

Time for some Fall!!!!  I am sure everyone is ready for the season to change.  Football season is here.  School is in full swing.  Thinking about all those Fall and Christmas projects.

This Saturday is our Make-up day.  I have kits ready for those that signed up for the class.  The date is the 12th.  Then next week we have our card class on Tuesday the 15th.  And yes, The Card Blitz on the 18th and 19th.  Oh my!!!!  On Saturday September 26th is sale day.  All single sheet paper will be $.10 a sheet.  Paper pads will be 50% off.  Albums will be 50% off. Stickers will be 50% off. I may add some other surprises.  So plan to be there and grab some crafting fun on the cheap.

As we remember 911.  The loss of life.  Those first responders who so courageously put their lives on the line to help others.  Let us remember that everyday these men and women are putting there lives on the line for our protection.  That single day of Heroism plays out in there lives everyday they put on their uniforms.  As we remember and pray for our Nation on this day, let us also pray for the men and women who step up to this calling for our protection today.

The Card Blitz went great!!!!  The ladies stayed on task and we were out of here earlier than I was anticipating.  

Big group scheduled for next weeks' card class.  I could do a class both Tuesday and Thursday.  Let me know if you would like to come to card class on Thursday instead of Tuesday.  I know everyone liked being together in one big group today.  So it is fine with me to do one big class.

Fresh Air Fun - July 8, 2015

Hope everyone had a great July 4th.  We had fun at our card class yesterday.  Missed some of the ladies who were not there.  Summertime is vacation time.

A week from tomorrow is our layout class.  I posted our first layout 'Bravo'.  The second layout is outdoor fun.  Picking homegrown blueberries.  Yummy!!!!

For our second layout I used 3 x 4 pictures.  Some of my pictures are a little less that 3 wide.  Try to keep your pictures in that size range.  It will be hard to work with the grid if they are larger.

My allergies finally got the best of me.  I developed that respiratory cough over the weekend.  Hopefully it will clear out soon.

This week is layout week.  So finally today I worked on the first layout.

February 28, 2015 - Farewell Pokey

Sad day today at the house.  We lost our pasture buddy, Pokey.  I am gonna miss patting and telling him what a good boy he was for standing still as I put on his blanket. He was a mess and too smart.  We put his feed in a big water trough.  Yes, he had gotten to the point where he would drop his food so we gave him a bigger dish.  He would flip the trough over on it's side to look for stray grain.  I would start to walk out with the bucket of feed and he would flip that trough back up.  He knew the trough had to be up for the feed.  I told you he was a mess.  If he was in the back pasture and saw you come out the back door he would come running.  I was amazed that he could run like that at his age.  His best trick was to hang over the fence pretending he had not been fed.  We had to come up with a system to let one another know he had been fed. Animals are wonderful but it is too hard when you loose them.

Good Times - February 23, 2015

My goodness it was beautiful day today.  I watched some birds play in the fountain as I walked back and forth working on the layout for this week.  It sure was nice to see that fountain not frozen over for a change.

This is our layout week and I have our first layout ready.  My brothers made a little trip together.  I wanted to use the title 'Trouble' but used 'Good Times' instead.   :-)

That's My Boy! - February 10, 2015

This week is busy.  Our makeup day is Friday. Thursday is layout class.  Here is the second layout for the class.

I find it harder to do a masculine page than a girl page.  One reason I tend to like flowers and bows!!!

Let's Do Lunch - January 22, 2015

My goodness here we are at the tail end of January. It looks like tomorrow will be a rainy day for us.  Those are the kind of days you want to curl up and watch movies.  I know some of you want to read.  I used to read a lot until the eyes started going haywire. Now most of my reading is on Facebook or e-mails.Both those things you can pick up and leave anytime.  Once you are into a good book you are stuck.  You don't want to put it down.

Next Thursday is our layout class.  So I have the first page done.

February calendar:  Card class on the 3rd and 17th.  Layout class on the 12th and 26th. Make-up day is usually the second Saturday but the ladies reminded me that it will be on Valentine's day.   We will have make-up day on Friday the 13th.  I will let you know what days I will be at the shop for you to look through the available kits. Blitz will be on the 20th and the 21st.  Remember to please let me know ahead of time if you plan to attend any of the events.  I am not cutting extra kits.  An event maybe canceled because there are not enough people signed up.

I cannot believe we are in the year 2015.  Seems too futuristic. I also can not believe how cold it is.  There were flurries in Jax this afternoon.  Yikes!!!!  I had ice on my fountain this morning.

Tomorrow I will be back at the shop if you need to pick out a card kit or two for Saturday's make-up day.  I'm only going to be there from 1:30-3:30.
