Create

Geneva's granddaughters came to the shop last week and were very creative. They made an Easter bunny card and were using glitter pens. We even played hide and seek. Can you imagine me running to base or trying to catch these little girls. So I had to do a layout with these cute little faces. This is our layout for this week. I'm sure you havepictures of litlle ones or big ones( I know I still love to color) coloring or being creative.

Those Cricut ladies were busy on Saturday.  Celeste demo on cutting fabric was great.  Glenda and Jane etched some cute easter designs on glass. Sandie made a beautiful paper rose.  Linda was cutting such cute zoo animals.  Sylvia cut a lace doily from the new Mother's Day cartridge.  Charmalita was busy working on Birthday invites.  Sherrill was cutting away making thank Ewes. Joan cut some fancy fabric Easter eggs that may turn into an Easter shirt.  It is always good to see so many ways to enjoy using your Cricut.

This weather is just so perfect.  Not too hot and not too cold.  But by the weekend you better have a cool Easter frock because it is supposed to be in the 80's.

Thi week besides our regular classes there is the Scissor Sisters meeting on Saturday.  Who knows what they will be working on this week.

Well it is Monday so I better get to work on my card for the week.

Happy Birthday/Bruschetta

Here we go with our layouts for the week. The regular 12x12 layout is celebrating Amy and Jacob's birthday. They enjoyed a new bounce house and sandbox. Looks like Big Daddy was having fun in the house.

The recipe page is for Bruschetta. Yummy on toasted french bread.
It must be Spring because I looked for very bright colors for both layouts.

Coming into town this morning I had to break for a turkey crossing the road. He was a big one. I kept looking for others to follow but he was a loner.

See you at the shop.

Wasn't Saturday a beautiful day.  I even enjoyed the rainy day yesterday.  Thank goodness I don't live in the mid west, they are having snow again. I guess I am just a Flordia girl.

This week we have our recipe page and regular layout.  Saturday is Cricut Club.  All this week is the Quilt Walk in downtown Lake City. Quilts will be displayed all over downtown and at the mall.  There are lots of classes being offered.  So enjoy this wonderful event offered by many talented ladies.

See you at the shop!

the Gang

What a great day for being creative. Well it is also a great day for being in bed. But I was creative and finished the layout for this week. The title is the Gang. These are my neices, nephews and great nephew. I used kraft paper for background page. There is some paper piercing so plan to take some time with the page this week.

This is Scissor Sisters work day.  Today the ladies are making a project Glenda found on the internet.  It is a cute accordian card Bunny.  He is so cute.......

This Saturday is Card Blitz Saturday. The time is 11-1 pm.  Make sure you let me know if you are going to be here.

Stay dry and I will see you at the shop.

Yesterday

Can you believe it is the second week in March. I guess I was feeling that time really is flying by so my layout this week is about reflection. Yesterday can be about yesterday litererally or about many yesterdays. No matter what time frame, we see changes in ourselves and those around us. You notice I said changes not aging. Scrapping those pictures helps us remember those yesterdays. I don't remember being this little or liking cowboy boots. But here is the story on my page chubby cheeks and all. No that is the only thing that has not changed about me.

Three things to look forward to on Saturday. It is Cuttlebug Saturday from 10-4. We spring forward an hour to daylight saving time. And most importantly it is Geneva's birthday.

Genuine Article

The first week of March already. WOW! Time sure flies. The layout for this week is of my nephew. He is a grown man now but we sure do have fond memories of his antics as a little boy. Yep, he was a pistol but has grown into quite a young man.

Gotta go and finish cutting all those little pieces for tomorrow's class.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  Saturday was wild and wonderful.  Lisa had a beautiful jewelry set up.  I just kept seeing more awesome pieces.  Sandi made a great pot of chili.  She added corn instead of beans.  There was fruit, danish, no bake cookies, these little swirls that I kept poping in my mouth.  Everything was yummy!!!!

The new lines from Graphic 45 arrived today and I just finished loading them into the computer.  There are 3 new lines.  The kids aisle has some new glitzy paper on it. So just enjoy strolling and seeing what is new.

See you at the shop.
