1 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
26-oz. round loaf bread
Stir together all ingredients except bread; set aside.
Hollow out bread, reserving torn pieces.
Spoon dip into bread; place on a in greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
Serve with torn bread or sliced apples.
Makes 3 1/2 cups.
This recipe is from Gooseberry Patch. They used the light mayonnaise because it makes a creamier dip.
We received some new albums in the shop. New wedding, baby, and general. Also a cute ladybug paper.
Heads up with the weather. It is supposed to get windy this afternoon and then this evening chances of some hail. They are predicting wet snow for Waycross.
See ya later.

New Stampington Magazines in the shop. The latest Somerset Studios, Take Ten, Digital Studio, and the new Somerset Apprentice. We also have the new Glue Glider Pro. We used this cute little glue gun at our weekend class in Orlando. It is handy to use and when you apply it to your project it is there to stay. That cartridge is the perma tac. I also have the repositionable cartridge(my personal favorite).

Have a great day.

Bread Pudding

I have been slow to post on the blog lately. So I am going to do some catching up.

Our recipe is from Rose. From what I hear this is outrageous.

Bread Pudding

1 loaf of French Bread
6 eggs
2 cups milk
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Cut French bread into cubes, place in a 9x13 inch casserole dish.
Mix remaining ingredients and pour over top of bread cubes.

Then mix together:

1 stick of butter
1 cup light Karo Syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts

Heat on stove top until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved, then pour over top of bread cubes.
Bake at 350 degrees.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, then remove foil and let brown for another 15 minutes.

I am gonna try to set up a special heading for our recipes so you can go straight to the recipes instead of searching our archives.

Enjoy this beautiful day.
