November 8, 2014

This week we lost a special lady.  She was always there to help you.  Always smiling.  So very talented. I am fortunate to own several of her painted pieces. She had so many wonderful stories she shared about her life.  And man could she do some cooking.  You never knew what she was going to experiment with next.  She would take a recipe and make it her own. Here she is making a beautiful strawberry tree for one of our parties at the shop.

She loved experimenting with all kinds of art medium.  Some she liked and some she didn't have to do again.  Always wanting to learn more.

She will be missed around our craft tables.

Her son Tony posted this information:

We will celebrate mom's life at Mikesville Presbyterian Church at 10:00 on Wednesday the 12th of November. Mom loved her church family, her crafting family and her dulcimer family so please join us. Also, in lieu of flowers or gifts, the family is requesting donations be made to Mikesville Presbyterian Church.

 Smiles 'til I see you.
