Sweet Memories

How many of us have wonderful women in our lives that can cook those awesome family favorites? A lot of you. But how many of you have actually stood at the elbow of that lady and learned to cook that recipe? I am one of those that did not. I can remember my one Grandmother making the most awesome biscuits. She would even let me make small ones. When she rolled her biscuits they were almost as big as the palm of my hand. Did not learn that special art of knowing the feel of making that dough. Then my other Grandmother always made the chicken 'n dumplins'. She would roll the dough with a smooth drinking glass. Those were the most tender dumplins'. Nope, didn't learn that recipe either. Remember to learn while you can. Don't make those recipes just sweet memories. My Grandmother did not like her picture taken as you can see.

This Saturday is Card Blitz. Class starts at 12:30. I'm not gonna put a stopping time. Hopefully, we will move right along and not be too late.

Better get finished and get home ahead of the storm.

See you at the shop.

Wow! What a busy weekend. Cuttlebugging on Saturday and Christmas decorating at home. But the trees and decorations are just soooo beautiful. It is a lot of work but to see the little guys eyes
(and the big guys too) is well worth the effort.

Man that cool weather did not last very long. Saturday morning it was beautiful to see the heavy frost with the moon in still visible. It is supposed to rain again tomorrow and turn a little cooler.

Our sale items this week are all Fall signs and bags are 40% off. Rub-ons and letters are 30% off.

See you at the shop.

Cheers

Well I guess we are gonna be getting some cold weather this week. So dig out those blankets and warm cozies. Prissy will be wearing her sweater this weekend.

We are celebrating friendship and that fall pastime of football and cheering. If you don't have pictures with cheerleaders maybe you have something you are celebrating. Our layout is all about having fun.

Better get finished with my little projects so I can get home.

Cuttlebug Club is this Saturday from 10:00 - 4:00 pm.

See you at the shop.

What a great weekend.

A beautiful wedding and a fun weekend. As you arrived you were greeted by rows and rows of awesome sunflowers. My favorite were the ones that popped up above all the others.

Food, food, and more food. This was at the reception. My friend cut 10 crates of corn off the cob. There are about 48 ears of corn in a crate. But it was well worth all the effort. The food choices for the caterer were all favorite foods of the Bride. Yummy!!!! Maybe I won't go weigh in this week.

The wedding was soooo beautiful.

.

Thank you Geneva for taking such good care of the shop. And thank you Frank and Belinda for taking such good care of Prissy.

See you at the shop.

Treat

Did you have a lot of little guys trick or treating? Not too many around the shop or at home. But several of you said you had to make an emergency run for more candy. Several groups went down town to the trunk or treats. The layout for the week is all about those out trick or treating. Or you may have photos of someone enjoying a treat. Like my little girl who loves those treats you all bring to the shop in your bags. Maybe you have somebody having a great time with an ice cream cone. All kinds of photos fit the title 'Treat'.

In this layout there is a cute Hobo, Bumblebee, GI Joe, and a SWAT guy. Love to see them having fun.

Have a great evening.

See you at the shop.

Happy Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday little Hobo!!!

Have a great day at school.
