Hope you are staying cool. Well a couple of weeks ago we had a wonderful family gathering. It was with my brothers and sister and their families. We had a great time enjoying stories and eating great ribs prepared by the guys. If you remember last weeks layout with them in South Florida at the grill. They can do some mean cooking.

Remember Friday we have two classes for creating a beaded bracelet. The fist class is at 2 pm and the evening class is at 7pm.

Saturday is another Play Day. So bring those projects in a spend some time creating and visiting.

Grillin

Here are my crazy brothers having fun as they grill. My youngest brother is called Big Daddy by his grandkids and many others. So the grill area is all Big Daddy's. My two nephews are enjoying sitting around the grill. They often have tasting time. I enjoy the tasting before dinner. It is a special sharing time. So come enjoy cropping a special grillin' time you had with your family.

Don't forget Thursday night at 6pm is the wonderful Dove chocolates with Lisa. Yummy!!!! Can't wait.

homegrown

Here is a layout for those kids, grandkids, or beautiful gardens. These cute little girls are harvesting onions out of their garden. See kids can have fun doing other things besides watching TV or playing video games. Everybody loves digging in the dirt. So join us this week and put together this layout.

Saturday is 'Card Blitz'.  The theme this month is Christmas in July.  There will be cards and some gift ideas.  The new time is from 12:30 - 2:30.  That way people can have lunch before we start.

Thursday June 22nd we will have Lisa showing us some wonderful chocolate goodies.  She shared some chocolate truffles with us last week and they were simply Divine.  Melt in your mouth Divine.  She did mention a chocolate martini somewhere in our conversation.  To me there can never be enough chocolate.  So plan to be at the shop next Thursday evening to enjoy some chocolate surprises with Lisa.

Beth has agreed to teach us how to make those great braceletes.  They are so cute but yet so comfortable you don't even realize you are wearing it on your wrist.  There are lots of different colored beads to choose from.  I have seen one inshades of teal, neutral browns, and the one she left here at the shop has every color and it is awesome.  I did see some orange and blue beads in the mix so you could make one to wear during football season.  She will offer 2 classes both on Friday July 30th.  One class is at 2:00pm. and the other is at 7:00p.m.  The class takes about an hour and the cost is $15.00.  So sign up early because the seating will be limited.

So there are lots of fun things happening at the shop so come on by and say Hi!

Well here we are with a new layout for the week. Don't we all wish we could spend the day floating in a pool or taking a nice cozy little nap.
if you don't have any pictures in a pool maybe you have someone taking a nice cozy nap or swinging in a hammock. What do you do to relax?

Remember this is Cuttlebug Week. What do you want to cut or emboss? I know Iris is gonna be making leaves and flowers. Whatever you need to catch up on, come on in and play with us from 10-4.

The party is over but the fun and fellowship always remembered.

What a celebration we had for our 4th anniversary.
Those friends of Ladybug sure know how to put on a bash.

Then the customers began arriving.

The food was wonderful.
What fun we had with all the make & takes
The exploding box ticket was drawn by Sandie

and she drew her own name. Then she gave the box back to Scrappy Papers for pictures from our celebration. How sweet was that.
The ladies wrapped the prizes. They really went overboard making them. So beautiful. And here is one of our lucky winners.

Needless to say everyone was pretty tired by the end of the day.

Thank you all for such a wonderful day.

Start the weekend right!  Crop all day and half the night Friday July 2nd.  It is the best therapy around.  Plus it helps you get those pictures organized.  But if you need to get a jump on those Christmas projects what better time to start.  You can enjoy having Christmas in July while working on those projects.

Saturday is Scissor Sisters play day.  How are those Christmas cards coming.  Have you put them on hold.  Well don't let Christmas get here and still have a bag full of projects you have not completed.  Come on down and get started while enjoying the friendly fellowship.

See you at the shop.
