Wow!!  Glenda and Carol gave me a workout yesterday.  Just kidding as Emily would say.  They did all the work.  They were helping me organize the table in back where I keep all the class kits.  We cut and organized all the scrap paper and cleared out all the old class kits.  There are just a few more trays to clean out.  Cleaning the table is a major change for me.  I have decided that I will only hold class kits for 2 weeks,  after that the kits are put back on the shelf.  This way I can stay more organized. I will set up the Cricut on the work table and not be spread all over the crop tables out front.  Look for page kits and card kits around the store.

I am working on the card for this week.  I'm leaning toward a shaker card.  It has been awhile since we did one and there are some of you who would like to learn this technique.

Oh My Gosh!

Well here is the layout for this week. My nephew and his family are brave. They are eating crickets. Oh My!!!

Teddi called on her way home from her eye procedure.  Good news she is fine and will be face down less than she was expecting.  Bad news is she will have to go back in 6 months for another procedure. During the procedure her retna tore and had to be repaired so that changed their original plan.

Patti tells me that her Dad  received good news today about one of his tests.  Sandi's sister did fine with her surgery and they think her limph nodes are clear.  Great news all around.

Congratulations Jenna!

Just a quick note to let everyone know that Joy has another grandchild.  Jenna had Colby yesterday.  He weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz.  Sounds like everyone is doing fine.

Yesterday was Card Blitz day.  We did some measuring, creasing, and yes it was a wild time.  Even with all that going on we actually were not too off our time schedule.  Surprise, Surprise....  There were 11-12 ladies running wild creasing and folding making Valentine cards. 

This is a busy week at Scrappy's.  We will be doing our recipe page this week.  There is a work day planned for Wednesday.  Some of the ladies are going to start working on Christmas cards etc. for next year.  This year they plan to be ahead at Christmas.  Friday night is Crop night and Saturday is Cricut Club.  Then we also have the usual classes all week. Well maybe usual is not a good word. You never know what will happen in those classes.

Winter Fun

Here is our layout for this week. Leave it to the kids to have fun with icy cold weather. Geneva made an icicle tree for the grandkids to break off and play with icicle swords. BRRRRR I think this was the day we hit 19 for a low.

Remember the gourd class has been postponed and that Saturday is Card Blitz. \

Due to the cool weather Mrs Louise and I have decided to postpone the gourd class until later.  She will have a sample of the feeder in the store before the next class is scheduled.

19 degrees at my house this morning. Jeez Louise thats cold.  I really looked like an eskimo bundled up walking Prissy and feeding Poky.  With ice on the ground Prissy did not stay outside very long.

Just a reminder this week is the gourd birdhouse on Thursday.  Let me know as soon as possible if you are going to do the birdhouse.  I need to give Louise a head count.  Also Saturday is our card blitz day from 11-1.  Our regular classes are offered all week.
